There’s one weekend left before the “Big Man in the Red Suit” comes around. If you haven’t had the time to take the kids to see Santa for a chance to sit on his knee, don’t fret! There are two great opportunities to spend some time with Santa before Christmas – and you won’t even have to make a trip to the mall.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch with Santa this weekend. There are two offerings in the Metro Milwaukee area that are sure to be a hit with your kids – and your taste buds.
Breakfast and Lunch with Santa at the Milwaukee County Zoo
If you’re got some time to spare this weekend, you could spend an entire holiday-themed day at the zoo with your kids. Families can share a breakfast or lunch with Santa and enjoy tasty treats, a live sing-a-long and even an appearance by Mrs. Claus! And if you’d like, stick around and see all the winter animals around the zoo, like the ever-popular polar bears.
Breakfast is served at 9 a.m. this Saturday only, and lunch is at noon on both Saturday and Sunday. Each meal, held in the Zoo’s Peck Welcome Center, includes a visit from Santa, a gift for each child and admission to the Zoo. All seats are reserved, and registration is limited. Tickets are $13 per child or adult, children 2 and under are $5 and parking is $10.
Santa Brunch at Café Hollander – Tosa Village
As if brunch at Café Hollander isn’t good enough already, it will be even sweeter this Saturday with a visit from Santa! Come by Hollander for Santa brunch at Cafe Hollander in Tosa Village tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and indulge in a tasty meal and a happy visit from Santa himself, right before he heads back to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas!
