There’s no denying we’ve been spoiled by the mild winter and already unseasonably warm spring. It may be a little cooler today, but things will be heating up through the weekend! If there’s one thing we can truly appreciate in Southeast Wisconsin, it’s when nice weather rolls around. We’re all yearning to get outside before the clouds suddenly appear and the thermometer drops again.

Luckily for us, there’s no shortage of parks, courses, trails, courts and lakefronts to take advantage of when the sun peeks out. Take a look at out county parks and recreation guides to find a place to get up, get out and get some fresh air in Southeast Wisconsin:

Men & Women Put Feelings First When Buying a Home

Square-footage and price are important elements to consider when selecting a home but according to a new survey from Coldwell Banker Real Estate of 1,000 men and women, they both also rely on how they feel and how their lifestyle fits into a home when looking for a place to live. The survey found 28 percent of women and 25 percent of men put more emphasis on their feelings about a home than they do on the layout, square footage, or price. The majority of women (62 percent) and men (61 percent) also know within the first visit if the home is right for them. (more…)

Each spring when the weather changes it’s natural to begin thinking about big life changes, too. One of those changes may be buying a new home. But rather than just focusing on square feet and finishes, think about the kind of surrounding you’d most be comfortable in.

It’s spring! Have your “May flowers” already arrived?

Today is technically the first day of spring, but we’re in the midst of the warmest start of the year on record and have been enjoying temperatures in the upper 70s (and even 80s!) for days now! In this crazy-warm “winter” we’ve had, the birds are already singing and the tulips are rising. What’s up with that?
