According to a recent report by the Wisconsin REALTORS Association, home sales in the state have jumped significantly in January, compared to sales in the same month last year. Home sales were up 16.2 percent in January 2011, while it was also the second straight month in which home sales increased. What’s more, this sales jump came without the aid of a homebuyer tax credit, which was in place at this time last year. This is positive news for the state’s housing market, hinting to the fact that Wisconsin’s market may be turning a corner.
