It’s the unofficial start to summer! And, wow, does the weekend weather in Southeast Wisconsin look perfect for some backyard barbeques, outdoor sports and recreation and maybe a couple afternoons spent at Bradford Beach in Milwaukee.
Let’s first take the time to remember that Monday doesn’t just mean a day off from work. It’s a day set aside to pay special tribute to the memory of everyone in our special forces that have served our country so unselfishly and so bravely throughout the history of the armed forces. Please remember to take some time this weekend to remember those who lost their lives fighting for our country.
If you’re traveling this weekend, make sure to drive safely and be cautious of all the extra traffic on the roads. If you’re celebrating the long weekend with a few beverages, always have a designated driver. Remember: safety first, second and third!
And after you practice safety this weekend, then remember to focus on fun, family and friends. Enjoy the holiday weekend, everyone!

While you don’t need to be an architect to shop for a home, it doesn’t hurt to know the main categories of styles found in the various neighborhoods and streets you’re searching.
At this point, we all know how important it is to “reduce, reuse and recycle.” We’ve learned about switching out incandescent light bulbs for compact-fluorescent light bulbs, and we know to shop locally to reduce our carbon footprint.
