It’s Fall in Southeast Wisconsin

As Monday marked the last day of Summer, it’s time to put away our bathing suits and sandals and look ahead to Fall. And what better place is there to take in all of autumn’s beauty than Southeast Wisconsin? From watching the leaves change on a long drive through the Lake Country to apple picking and harvest festivals, there’s so much to love about fall in Southeast Wisconsin. Andy Warhol comes to Milwaukee

The work of famed artist Andy Warhol, who redefined modern art in the Beat era and is most famous for his Campbell Soup can painting and fluorescent silkscreen images of Marilyn Monroe,  is coming to the Milwaukee Art Museum beginning this Saturday, September 26th. The exhibit, which includes 50 pieces created in the last years of Warhol’s life, will run through January 3rd, 2010. To read more about the exhibit, “Andy Warhol: The Last Decade,” click here.
