As Monday marked the last day of Summer, it’s time to put away our bathing suits and sandals and look ahead to Fall. The work of famed artist Andy Warhol, who redefined modern art in the Beat era and is most famous for his Campbell Soup can painting and fluorescent silkscreen images of Marilyn Monroe, is coming to the Milwaukee Art Museum beginning this Saturday, September 26th. The exhibit, which includes 50 pieces created in the last years of Warhol’s life, will run through January 3rd, 2010. To read more about the exhibit, “Andy Warhol: The Last Decade,” click here.
